Riesling

Zeer minerale Riesling met het typisch sappige, geelfruitige accent van de Pfalz. Sterke Riesling met een minerale structuur en toch rijk aan finesse met intense geuren van zeer rijp geel fruit. Hints van honing en rook zijn net zo duidelijk terug te vinden als de fijne tonen van zoete meloen, ananas en lychees. Deze zoete vrucht op de neus zet zich voort in de smaak. Het resultaat van volledig rijpe en extractrijke druiven uit kleine opbrengsten, oude Riesling-wijnstokken en de beste kalksteengronden uit de Pfalz.

Deze Riesling-druiven worden voorzichtig geperst en spontaan gefermenteerd na een maceratieperiode van ongeveer 12 uur. De wijn blijft tot kort voor het bottelen op de droesem. De wijn rijpt op roestvrij staal. Een klassieke, fijne, maar toch uitgebreide Pfalz Riesling gemaakt van rijpe, gezonde, zeer aromatische druiven.

De "Kirschgarten" ligt aan de directe rand van het Rijndal, een van de bekendste locaties in de Pfalz. Hier komt de massieve, oerkalksteenrots tevoorschijn, die verantwoordelijk is voor het typische karakter van deze wijnen. In de bovengrond bevindt zich een kleine hoeveelheid löss met fijn kalksteengruis. Een enorm kalksteenrif in de ondergrond. Zonovergoten zuidoostelijke helling in een tegen de wind beschermd dalbekken.

Riesling

Highly mineral Riesling with the typically juicy, yellow-fruity accent of the Palatinate. Strong Riesling with a mineral structure, yet rich in finesse with intense scents of very ripe yellow fruits. Hints of honey and smoke can be found just as clearly as the fine notes of sweet melon, pineapple and lychees. This sweet fruit on the nose continues in the taste. The result of fully ripe and extract-rich grapes from small yields, old Riesling vines and the best Palatinate limestone soils.

These Riesling grapes are gently pressed and spontaneously fermented after a maceration period of around 12 hours. The wine remains on the lees until shortly before bottling. The wine is aged in stainless steel. A classic, fine, yet expansive Palatinate Riesling made from ripe, healthy, highly aromatic grapes.

The "Kirschgarten" is located on the direct edge of the Rhine Valley, one of the most famous locations in the Palatinate. This is where the massive, primeval limestone rock emerges, which is responsible for the typicality of these wines. In the topsoil there is a small amount of loess with fine limestone grit. A massive limestone reef in the subsoil. Sun-drenched southeast slope in a wind-protected valley basin.
