Riesling

Een delicate Riesling met een minerale structuur, rijk aan finesse en intense geuren van groene appels, limoenen en extreme kruiden, jaar na jaar. Deze geur zet zich voort in de smaak. De wijn ziet er strak en spaarzaam uit met precieze zoute, minerale indrukken op de tong en het gehemelte.

Deze Riesling-druiven komen als hele trossen intact naar de wijnpers. Na een langzame gisting met natuurlijke gisten gedurende enkele weken, wordt de wijn tot kort voor het bottelen op de droesem bewaard. De wijn rijpt in roestvrijstalen tanks zonder lucht.

De wijngaard "Kallstadter Steinacker" staat geheel op kalksteengrond op een grote hoogte van ca. 250 m rond de wijngaard "Saumagen". Minerale, fijnfruitige Riesling uit een speciaal deel van de wijk Kallstadt. Niet alleen de hoogte maakt de Steinacker zo interessant, maar bijzonder is de opvallende kalksteenrots in de ondergrond van dit hoogplateau.

Riesling

A delicate Riesling with a mineral structure, rich in finesse and intense scents of green apples, limes and extreme spice, year after year. This scent continues in the taste. The wine appears taut and spare with precise salty, mineral impressions on the tongue and palate.

These Riesling grapes come to the wine press intact as whole bunches. After slow fermentation with natural yeasts for several weeks, the wine is stored on the lees until shortly before bottling. The wine is aged in a stainless steel tank with no air at all.

The "Kallstadter Steinacker" vineyard stands entirely on limestone soil at a high altitude of approx. 250m around the vineyard "Saumagen“. Mineral, finely fruity Riesling from a special section of the Kallstadt district. It's not just the altitude that makes the Steinacker so interesting, what's special is the striking limestone rock in the subsoil of this high plateau.
