Cabernet Franc

Deze noordhelling, met zijn typische Véron-terroir van milllarges (verweerde tufsteen) boven gele tufsteen, geeft de wijn een etherisch profiel en tegelijkertijd een aanzienlijke aromatische complexiteit. Les Pucelles is nu al zeer drinkbaar, maar zal zeker zijn hoogtepunt bereiken na 2-3 jaar kelderrijping. Dit is het aangrenzende perceel van Moulins de Beau Puy. Voor terroirliefhebbers is een vergelijkende proeverij van de twee wijnen zeer interessant. Bij Les Moulins de Beau Puy geeft de aanwezigheid van klei de wijn meer body.

This north-facing slope, with its typical Véron terroir of milllarges (weathered tuff) over yellow tuff, gives the wine an ethereal profile and simultaneously considerable aromatic complexity. Les Pucelles is already very drinkable, but will certainly reach its peak after 2-3 years of cellar aging. This is the adjacent parcel of Moulins de Beau Puy. For terroir enthusiasts, a comparative tasting of the two wines is highly recommended. In Les Moulins de Beau Puy, the presence of clay gives the wine more body.
