Carignan

Middeldiepe granaatkleur. Aromatisch met wilde kruiden, vers geplette donkere bessen, viooltjes, rode bessen en donkere kersen. De smaak is fris en zeer hartig, met body en structuur: jamachtige donkere vruchten, pruimencompote, smaken van geplette bessen, minerale en zoethouttonen en een subtiele kruidigheid. Lange afdronk.

75 tot 110 jaar oude wijnstokken. Handmatige oogst; alcoholische en malolactische gisting in Franse foudres (3000 L); 12 maanden rijping in nieuwe Franse foudres (3000 L), licht en medium getoast.

Carignan

Medium-deep garnet colour. Aromatic with wild herbs, freshly crushed darkcurrants, violets, redcurrants, and dark cherries. The taste is fresh and very savory, with body and structure: jammy dark fruit, plum compote, flavours of crushed berries, mineral and liquorice notes, and a subtle spiciness. Long finish.

75 to 110-year-old vines. Manual harvest; alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French foudres (3000 L); 12 months aging in new French foudres (3000 L), lightly and medium toasted.
